My Win 11 PC won't wake up from sleep using the keyboard or mouse.

My Win 11 PC can only wake up by pressing the power button. How do make it able to wake up using the keyboard or mouse?

I have checked the option that says "Enable wake up using mouse or keyboard" somewhere, but it doesn't make any difference.

My PC is updated to the latest system update.

I believe I found the solution, it is a Windows power-saving policy where USB power is cut off when the computer goes into sleep mode, so the keyboard receiver will not work, and the computer will not wake up as a result. You just need to disable this feature.

Settings > Energy e Battery > Energy Recommendations > Stop usb devices when my screen is off to save battery ----> Turn Off.

I have this issue I recently started using a Microsoft bluetooth mouse and it does not wake the PC from sleep (Windows 11 Pro - latest build).

Also, the power management tab for bluetooth devices is absent so the wake command cannot be ticked there - I have created a new DWord called CsEnabled in **Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Power **and set the value to 0. The tab still does not appear in device manager -> power management,

I have uninstalled and reinstalled the bluetooth drivers. I have run the troubleshooter(s).

    Nothing works.

Is there a fix coming for this? Really annoying.

    I FOUND THE REAL SOLUTION

It most likely is in your bios, (if you tried all device manager options already) then go into your bios and check for any USB wake up settings and make sure they are enabled, go to power management and look for resume from USB settings and enable (they all will say something like S3/S4/S4) which is what you are looking for. save and exit and if it doesn't work then switch to a USB 2.0 instead of 3.0 port and try

Worked instantly for me after changing bios settings
