I am on Win 11 Version 22H2 and on Windows Insider Programme with the BETA channel.

I have applied for unenrollment in Insider updates of the BETA channel but I am still getting updates. I want to be out of the windows Insider program does anyone knows how to do it? Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

I have a lot of my apps here and I don't want to go through the trouble again to install all the apps and set all the environment variables again.

It's my working laptop so just to check the BETA channel I did it for once but I am stuck with the BETA. Is there anything that can be done without reinstalling Windows or resetting windows or anything that will lead to reinstalling of apps again? Some other methods or steps so I would be out of BETA.

I am in the queue for unenrollment but it's taking forever to take me out of the BETA. Kinda stuck here, any other way to resolve it?

Leave Bata channel and return to released Windows version without reinstall.

On beta channel you may have one or two installed Enablement packages 1) KB5018863 and 2) KB5015669.

Uninstall those and then delete WindowsSelfHost key from registry

    1. Open Windows Update / Update history / Uninstall updates:

    1. Open open regedit (push Win key and type regedit).
    2. Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\WindowsSelfHost
    3. On left panel right click that key and delete it.
    4. Close regedit and restart (may require two restart)

Hello, I’m Virginia, a fellow user like yourself.

Sorry to hear you’re experiencing problems.

You can clean install Windows or recover via a disc image created before you enrolled to return to normal updates. In any case you’ll have to do this after completion as you’ll no longer be entitled to install Beta updates.

I did all the steps included in those links (that don't include my windows to reinstall) but nothing works!

I am still waiting to get normal updates instead of BETA updates.

    Thanks for your efforts.
