SOLVED Fresh Windows 11 install fails due to requirements problem; need to identify issue

I built a new system. Here are the basics:

ASUS B550M-Plus motherboard

AMD Ryxen 5700X processor

16 GB memory

2 X 1 TB SSD drives

MSI Geforce 210 1024 MB DDR3 PCI-Express 2.0 Graphics Card

I am trying to install Windows 11 from the full retail version thumb drive.

After answering the keyboard & language questions, the installer displays a dialog saying the system doesn't meet requirements.

I really wish I knew the exact problem the installer is having. Is there a log file or other resource that identifies the issue?

Any help appreciated.

Thank you for everyone who responded.

I checked the BIOS settings to see if TPM was enabled; it was.

Since I was in there, I checked boot settings. The booth method was set to "UEFI & Legacy."

I switched to UEFI only, and rebooted.

Windows 11 install was able to proceed past the system requirements test, and it looks like install was successful.

I do wish there was a sort of checklist or log of compatibility issues!

    Hello StefanOrenco,

    I am Jaspreet Singh.

It is your device processor itself.

Ryzen 7 5700x is not supported for windows 11.

Here is a list of all AMD supported processors : https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-hardwa...

Is this your motherboard TUF GAMING B550M-PLUS and the currently installed processor is Ryzen 7 5700X (3.4GHz,65W,L3:32M,8C)

If yes means . have you updated the latest bios firmware 2423 in your motherboard.

remove MSI GeForce 210 graphics card, and connect the monitor to your motherboard only if your processor comes with builtin gpu.

make sure TPM is enabled in bios.

Windows 11 can be installed on most computers that can run Windows 10.

The installation can be in a supported or unsupported fashion.

During an upgrade parameters are checked by the upgrade assistant.

During a clean install there are no upgrade assistant parameters checked making it easy to clean install.

If there are upgrade problems related to supported components then an unsupported upgrade is an option.

This can be accomplished by modifying files.
