lvrs64.sys is causing me problems and I'm unable to remove it.

Recently, my PC received an update, and I noticed memory integrity was no longer functioning. Upon further inspection, I found several drivers that were incompatible due to their old age and lack of support. I was able to remove all but one which is lvrs64.sys. I've done everything from removing my webcam to removing all of its software and drivers from my PC, I even went as far as manually removing it from system32. However, there is a remaining copy inside of the driverstore directory and no matter what methods I try, I just can't seem to shake it. It's always apparently in use by a nonexistent device, even when booting in safe mode, and it's protected meaning I can only use the pnputil to try and exterminate it. Can someone please offer me some assistance on how I can fix this issue? Thank you.

    Hello LukeDavalos

Running this command in a command prompt as an administrator will uninstall the driver and remove it from the system:

    pnputil /delete-driver oem67.inf /uninstall /force

    Greetings

Luke - There are other ways to remove all of the driver leftovers here:

    Hi,

Follow below a suggestion for remove the driver manually.

Search the drive and just delete.

This is the best answer I have seen so far, but to get to this view, go to Device Manager > View (on top) > and click "Devices by driver".

Then, as described by this user above, remove the drivers based on the "Published name" you saw from the Incompatible drivers list.

    Hi @Tekkie Boy

I have used this command prompt to get rid of oem64.inf and oem8.inf that were causing problem with my Memory Integrity setting. But lvrs64.sys and lvuvc64.sys also exist. Can I get rid of them the same way?

I don't even have a logitech webcam device but I do have logitech mouse and external keyboard. Dell laptop and a different external webcam (NexiGo?).

Can I remove these two *.sys files the same way?

    Thanks!
