2022-09-18T21:22:11+00:00 I think that this could be a potential bigger problem then "Turn off News and Interest"". This just happened to me, the app used upp 15.1GB (all available memory) and my computer got really laggy. Either you have a memory leak (computer been on for a few hours) or it's a plain bug. This need to be adressed asap. I ended the program from the taskmanager and it's it ended my problems.

Can you Right-click on the news feed widget in your taskbar, hover over News and Interests in the list, then select turn off in the drop-down menu? This will disable this feature.
