redirect User profile is inaccessible from computer

we have a user getting this error when they are login to their win 10 PC. Any suggestions?

I'd check that the path exists and if so then also check the effective permissions for the user.
right-click\Properties\Security\Advanced\Effective Access

Both of your suggestion have been checked and verified.
Apparently when I tried to issue cmd gpupdate /force to the end user PC, the desktop is coming up.
Not sure what's causing it. when we are restarting the system the desktop is going inaccessible again until we issue the command again

Have we checked the suggestion provided? We are wondering whether only this user encountered this error when trying to access his redirected documents?

The Settings tab in each folder's properties dialog box contains a check box labeled Grant the user exclusive rights to My Documents. If you select this check box, the user and the local system have full control over the folder, and no one else, not even the administrator, has any rights to it. If you clear this check box, no changes are made to the permissions on the folder. Whatever permissions are in effect by default remain in effect.

its only this one user who is facing it.

yes , check box labeled Grant the user exclusive rights to My Documents is there already.

Have we checked the permission of Document for this user? Normally this user should have full control permission of his Document and should be owner of this folder.

Besides, according to our statement, I understand that Document could be accessed if we run gpupdate /force. If any misunderstanding, please let me know.

this is what I see with user and I checked with all working users its same and they are able to access their profiles. This is what I have when I go to profile folder and in their on desktop folder when I right clicked.

From the provided screenshots and based on my understanding, the user Iris also could not be able to access his Desktop and Favorites folders. If any misunderstanding, please let me know.

If we checked the redirected folders on the server, other user even the administrators have no access to Iris's redirected folders. If we want to check the permission, we could choose to take ownership of the folder firstly.

For example:

As mentioned before, normally the user should have full control of the redirected folder, such as Documents. Following is the example when user Bella is trying to access her redirected Documents folder. We could see the permission of Bella.

So we need to make sure that the user has proper permissions of his redirected folders, such as Documents.

not sure wahts this but I don't think we have UNC hardening here, how can I verify this?

here is the share permission but just to let you know, when user is typing gpupdate command and restart the PC is accessing her profile. so every morning she needs to run that to access her profile

To check whether we have configured UNC hardening, we could see whether the below group policy is configured on this PC.

Thanks for provided the valuable information that the user need to run gpupdate and restart the PC so that she could access her profile. If so, we are guessing the PC could not successfully contact with DC when the issue is happening. So at that time when the issue occurs, we could run the below commands:

nltest /sc_verify:<domain.com>

nltest /dsgetdc:<domain name> /force

I checked and we don't have UNC configured.

thanks for the commands but our GPupdate cmd is already doing the workaround here.

Do you think of any permanent solution here or if you can point out on what could be causing it? is it the bad wire or something. Just to let you know, I remove the PC from domain and re-add it back and I didn't face any issue in re-adding it but still we have this issue where user have to run gpudate every morning.

To find out the root cause and permanent solution, we need to capture some logs for analysis. log analysis is not supported here. If we would like to figure out this issue, it is suggested that we could contact MS support for more professional support.

According to our consumption, when the issue occurs, the policy could not be successfully applied. So we run gpupdate to refresh the policy, and then the policy is applied, and the user could access the network path later. Maybe we need to figure it out why the policy could not be applied before running gpupdate.

Besides, have this user account tried to login to other PC? If so, still have the same issue?
