Dear Microsof Community please help me with my problem. My flash drive OTG suddenly got an error saying "you need to format the disk in drive F: before you can use it" I tried using EaseUs, but other than that I did not try anymore 3rd party application, since majority of them has to be paid in order to recover and fixed the problem that is not guaranteed to fix. I also tried the CMD command chkdsk and it says that "Chkdsk is Not Available for Raw Drives" and further note I don't think there are any virus in my flash drive since I only use it for Docs file, Video, and I only plugged it on my pc which does not have any virus and I don't want to reformat the flash drive, because my left important data in the flash drive so PLEASE HELP ME FIXING THIS PROBLEM. THANKS IN ADVANCE!

Hi DK,
I am Sumit, an Independent Advisor here to assist you.
Please note that there is no 100 percent guarantee to fix USB drives. Often you would see limited success in those. In that case, you need to replace the same.
See if Testdisk helps you to recover lost partition. If it works, good. If not, I am afraid you need to discard it.

Can you tell me specificaly on how to use it? and can that fix my poblem without reformatting my OTG USB?
You can use the Disk Manager to format your USB stick. Formatting will erase all data.
If you wish to restore data from that disk then you must use one of the many partition recovery tools you will find with a Google search.
The Disk Manager (diskmgmt.msc) is the native tool to format disks.
