KB5017328 and KB5017321(22H2) causes blank screen after logon

Installing KB5017328 causes a blank screen after user logon. The only way I resolved was to remove KB5017328.

At the blank screen I was able to start Task Manager and logon as Administrator successfully where I proceeded

to remove KB5017328. Why it only blanks the screen(after logon) on my user-id is a mystery. Any one else?

OK, well, forget about KB5017383. Unsure why I thought it superseded KB5017328. Now after

installing KB5017321(22H2) the same blank screen is back after user logon. Microsoft is losing it.

Turning off updates. More productive things to do than troubleshoot for Microsoft.

Thanks for your reply. I will try your suggestion when time allows. I thought about that but figured why bother. It is time

consuming to install and uninstall this update. However, I do not know what it will prove. It's still a bug, obviously created

by KB5017328 that needs to be fixed. If MS wants to run an instruction trace my machine to capture the failure while I

recreate it, I would gladly make time for that.

Somehow this **** update(KB5017328) got installed again. Again I got the blank screen. Per suggestion, I created another userID and like the administrator, it does not fail. So, the question is, what is it about my user-id that is causing this Microsoft defect to solidly and repeatedly rear it's head. I have 3 other Windows 11 machines(same hardware, device drivers, configuration style, etc) and none of them fail with this fix. Anyone know how I can rebuild my user-id or delete/recreate it while keeping my desktop, user rights, ownership, etc?

The idea would be to diagnose something in your profile conflicting with a clean user profile (in case the problem doesn't recur in this new profile), but you're right, if uninstalling the update solved the problem, great.

As we are a community of users of Microsoft products, we would not be able to take any diagnosis directly to the company, but the result would be available here for other users.

Hi, my name is Anderson Souza, I hope I can help you with your issue.

Microsoft does not yet recognize this behavior as an issue with this update:

    https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/topic/septe...

Could you try creating a new local user on this machine and see if the problem occurs with all user profiles? Check the procedures in the link below:
