I'm getting the "Sorry, the video player failed to load.(Error Code: 101102)" error only in Firefox. Strange that it does not occur in Microsoft Edge.

So, my drivers are fine. But Microsoft seems to have done something that makes other browsers not work. My drivers are fine. **** you Microsoft.

    Hi,

From what site do you want to play that video?

Also, Microsoft will not affect your other browsers to get you to Edge.

Hi George, I am Paulo and I'd like to help.

Sorry to hear you're having this issue. I've seen this error on some threads in the Firefox forum. Since the video plays using Edge, it is possible that the problem is just within Firefox. Some suggested that it could be caused by the blocking of extensions or the blocking of trackers for the website.

Either way, you can try both and see if it works

    • Open the website in Firefox
    • Click the shield icon and turn off the option "Enhanced Tracking Protection is ON for this site"
    • Disable either ad-blocking extensions or all extensions just to check if it will fix the problem

If the issue still occurs, try clearing the cache and cookies for that website

    • On the website, click the lock icon beside the address bar then click "Clear cookies and site data..."

I see. I'm glad that it is now fixed anyway. If the problem ever occurs again, you can try the steps I've provided and see if the steps will fix it. :)

From multiple sites. But the problem seems to have cured itself. So, I doubt I will ever find out what caused it.

Also, I replied to my own question by stating that the error did not occur in Chrome. Which means that it is not an effort by the evil Windows developers to cripple the opposition. That reply does not show here.

    Sorry, Microsoft.
