Windows 11 File Explorer Right-click Menu was changed to include icons

Who did this and why do they do it (see picture below)? The File Explorer right-click menu has had the options: Cut, Copy, Paste, Rename, Delete listed (as words) in this menu FOREVER and now some genius decided that after all these years, Windows users are too dumb to read. The words were replaced with icons. THIS IS SO ANNOYING. THE MUSCLE MEMORY IN MY HANDS IS ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO RETRAIN AFTER YEARS OF THE MENU BEING THE SAME WAY. Now I have to stop and think about something that I've done instinctively for years. I can get to the ORIGINAL right-click menu by selecting "Show More Options," shown in the photo below, but WHY SHOULD I HAVE TO, THAT'S AN EXTRA STEP? If I am intelligent enough to boot up a computer, then certainly I can read the words: Cut, Copy, Paste, Rename and Delete. I don't need you to create icons to represent those functions. IF IT'S NOT BROKEN THEN DON'T TRY TO FIX IT. STOP DUMBING DOWN THE SOFTWARE AND MAKING THINGS HARDER PLEASE.

How about putting usable stuff that has been hidden back on the right click menu and this unusable junk that is available on the show more junk option

You joined Microsoft in winning the ID10T award with this OS. Windows 10 being the WORST OS ever created by Microsoft even over Vista, 11 is what 10 should have been. The right click menu has always had cut, copy, paste, and delete readily accessible even in the 5-1/4" Floppy black and white Windows 1.0. IDC they recently updated and added tiny unviewable icons that are supposed to represent the only items placed on the (no thought shown) "show more" option. PUT ALL THIS NEW UNUSABLE JUNK in show more and give us back our usable right click menu. The whole idea of "show more" is just STUPID.
If it works, don't change it. Right click has always worked PERFECTLY, except when Microsoft or another IDC company improperly associates shell extensions there. Microsoft hasn't produced a good operating system since Windows 7 and before that XP. They have lost their sense of direction and we keep paying the price for their failure, every 3 years.

i want to kick the **** out of the **** who changed word to those stupid icons ! but there is so much more **** the sucks about windows 11 and pro dont even waste your money buying pro because you cant change anything with pro as matter of fact i dont think there is a diffence between pro and just plan windows 11 both are complete **** !

Not a good change for Microsoft. Thank goodness for Ron Collins reply below, the link steps you through the registry change to restore the right click context menu. Let's buy a Tom Collins for Ron Collins please!
