How to set screen time and content filters for myself? (not for child) Windows 11

I tend to get distracted and spend a lot of time on news websites.

I want to set up limits say, 30 min per day limit allowed to browse a set of websites.

Again, this is for myself. I do not want to create a child account for this.

I have explained that Family Safety is a bare bones app and is also quite buggy with problems I handle here every day. This is not my fault, I'm just the messenger who is trying to help.

If you want to complain to Microsoft use the Feedback Hub app in Start Menu where developers are tasked to process consumer feedback. But Microsoft will not even see it here because this is a tech forums where we are mostly volunteers trying to help solve your problems.

I even went the extra distance to collect all the other apps for you to find one that works for parental controls for an adult. Did you look those over. You can ask their Support if they provide this.

I would have thought with Covid-19 work from home, this would be a killer app.

To help workers regulate their internet distractions.

It is surprising that one cannot apply some form of parental controls on ones own account.

Hello, I'm Greg, 10 years awarded Windows MVP, specializing in Installation, Performance, Troubleshooting and Activation, here to help you.

There's no way using Microsoft Family Safety to set up restrictions on any other than a child account. So you'd have to set up a separate account to do this.

    Guide here:

You might have better luck with one of the other more fully-featured parental controls:

I wish I had something more to offer, but as it is MS Family Safety is limited and somewhat buggy.
