I need to delete an account from authenticator app. I have searched online, including youtube. A couple different ways were shown but none of them worked the way they showed or described. How can I delete an account from authenticator?

SebMenard's solution from the link provided here worked for me. Find the account on the phone first, not MS Authenticator (mine is Android, so I went to "Manage Accounts") and delete that account there. It removed it from MS Authenticator automatically.
This works for android. Just did it on Pixel 6a on 8/9/23
I can't delete an account in the Authenticator application.
The account I want to delete appears with a gray background and if I click on it nothing happens.
