Just tried to upgrade to windows 11 and got this message?? Any help would be appreciated.

Also, I accidently deleted my appdata file and I am getting a few problems with my laptop, i,e, some of my hotkeys are not working, I did this before trying to upgrade to windows 11, I thought upgrading would rectify this problem.

Thanks in advance.

Did you delete AppData folder entirely? I believe that has screwed up the installation.

    Check Windows 11 compatibility

    Download Windows 11

Download Windows 11 ISO file and Run Setup.exe to Start the Upgrade, using Windows 11 Media Creation Tool.

All steps, including MCT and Installation Assistant, are covered here: https://www.yourwindowsguide.com/2021/10/install-windows-11-manually-or-offline.html

    Hope that helps.

Thanks for the details. Let us try toggling the Function lock.

On your keyboard, look for Fn key.

Press Fn key+Esc keys simultaneously once. Then see if the Prt Scn works as intended.

Thanks Tim. Is PrtScn a separate key or included in a Function key like F10?
