Computer would not restart after an update

Today my windows 11 PC (Only two weeks old) completed an update but would not restart automatically afterwards. After forced shutting down several times it appeared to roll back the changes. How can I avoid this update in future?

I had to take it to a technician who told me that the update completely corrupted my laptop and had to pay $300 to get it repaired. That is not right. The technician told me that I was a 10th person in the last couple of days that had the same problem trying to update to Microsoft 11. I hope they file a class action lawsuit against you so that I can join. That is totally unfair that you ask a customer to update in the update crashes/corrupts the laptop.

What is the KB number of the update that is causing the problem, is that the July KB5062553 update that was released yesterday.

2025-07-09T12:48:07.1833333+00:00 Hi, It may well have been that one but my computer performed a rollback after I initiated Startup Repair, after which it started up normally, so I can't say for sure.In the meantime I've put a 4 week delay on updates
