My pc freezes when i play games like fortnite, rust or mostly every steam game.

my pc freezes every 5-10 secs when i play fortnite or steam games. i installed every driver and graphics card shi i need. its really annoying because nothing has helped no matter what i do for 3 or 4 months. it started out just freezing once every 5-10 mins, which wasnt that big of a deal until it got waaaaaayy worse freezing every 5-10 secs. pls help me. if u need any more information about it to help me, just comment and ask. pls help😢.

This behavior can occur for several reasons. It is necessary to investigate.

Please do the following:

Reproduce the issue by playing a game where the issue is occurring. Then, export and share the log for analysis:

Press Windows + X and select Event Viewer;

Expand Windows Logs and select System;

In the Actions panel on the right, select Filter Current Log;

In Event level, check the boxes Critical, Warning, and Error and click on Ok;

Again, in the Actions panel, select Save Filtered Log File As and save in an easily accessible place.

Then, upload the file to the cloud (OneDrive), choose to share it, and get the link.

Post the link to the file here so I can have a look.

3D Mark is a good diagnostic for gaming performance, you can find it also in Steam. If you can run it multiple times in a row without freezing, then it might be the problem with specific game you play. If not, Event Viewer indeed would be the very first point to identify the issue, if drivers are new.

Also overheating could be one problem, you could investigate your CPU and GPU temperature during playing.
