File Explorer stopped working after Windows update KB5063060 Please HELP!!!!

Windows update KB5063060 on June 16th caused File Explorer to not open fully. It opens in taskbar, but does not open in a window. Windows just did 2 updates yesterday 7.9.2025 (KB5062553 & KB5056579), but unfortunately that did not fix the problem. I tried many suggested fixes except for reinstalling Windows and uninstalling that update. Any suggestions/help is appreciated.

Thank you!

Good day! I'm John Dev a Windows user like you and I'll be happy to assist you today. I know this has been difficult for you, rest assured, I'm going to do my best to help you.

Do you have a secondary monitor connected? If so, please try disconnecting it and see if the issue persists.

If this doesn't work, open File Explorer then Press and Hold the Shift key on your keyboard. Right click the affected application on the taskbar. Select Move then use the left and right arrows on your keyboard to move to the center.

I look forward to receiving your update and I'm willing to collaborate with you till we resolve the issue. Do keep me informed.

Kind regards,

John DeV
