Outlook not grouping conversations in shared mailboxes even though the setting is selected.

I'm attempting to use the new Outlook on the web. i have "Show email grouped by conversation." yet my email box does not display this information in conversation, but rather as individual messages.

This is not an issue through the new outlook app

I have the same issue. Grouping by conversation works for personal email (both in OWA and the New Outlook SW), works for shared mailboxes in the New Outlook, but not in OWA. It also doesn't work for group mailboxes (neither in OWA nor the New Outlook), but it does work in the Groups panel. Quite a mess, I would say.

Based on description, you can group conversations in New Outlook but not in Outlook Web.

After I tested on my own, I encountered the same issue as yours.

I believe this is a limitation on Outlook Web. It works fine in New Outlook.

And I agree with you this feature is very useful, as it already existed in New Outlook, bring this to Outlook Web is reasonable and logical.

I recommend you raise your valuable ideas via Feedback Portal.

Microsoft will listen and try the best to enhance customers' experience.

I have the new outlook app and it suddenly stopped grouping conversations. (was working fine until the app was closed). Tried changing settings. still not working.
