Windows 11 general instability and low performance after downloading or installing ANYTHING

Question

Hi, ever since upgrading to windows 11 I've been having instabilities such as freezing in games that I never had issues with before.

And after installing something, for example, a game in steam, the pc starts constantly freezing up and I can barely even open up the windows menu to restart the pc, which usually fixes the issue until I install something else.

I'm running on average with 30% CPU, 50% memory, and around 30% GPU resource usage, and this is still the case during the intense freezing and lag after installing something.

(These numbers are high because I'm running stuff like NVIDIA Broadcast and VB audio device stuff which generally take up to ~10-15% GPU and CPU respectively. I see no reason any of this should be happening and it's only started since I installed windows 11.

I've used all of the troubleshooters that would potentially relate to my issue and none of them have fixed anything.

Actually, there are still complaints regarding Windows 11 performance as well as other issues, but Microsoft definitely is working on the issues. Before providing you with some additional troubleshooting steps, you can submit your feedback from the Feedback Hub App in order to inform Microsoft developers to the to the issues.

Press Windows Key + F to open the Feedback Hub App.

You might have already attempted some of these steps, so you can move on to the next one:

1-Check for updates:

Go to Settings > Update and Security > Check for update > install all the pending updates

2-Uninstall the graphics card driver completely using the DDU free tool:

Then, install the latest driver provided on the manufacturer's website.

3-Run Command Prompt as administrator. Type this command and hit enter:

dism.exe /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth

Then, type these commands and hit enter:

sfc /scannow

4-If you are overclocking your PC, try running everything (CPU, GPU, system memory) at their stock speeds. See if the issue is still reproducible. Or, turn off XMP profile or set it to Auto.

5-Download then install the latest version of BIOS & Chipset drivers from the manufacturer's website.

8-If the issue still persists, do a repair install of Windows 11 using an Installation Media:

If it hasn't been more than 10 days since the upgrade and you still have issues with Windows 11, you have the option to downgrade to Windows 11.
