Why is MS Photo editor making my photos too small to edit

Since the last update I cannot crop photos in MS photo editor. They open to fill the screen. But when I select "edit" to crop the image reduces to smaller than a thumbnail making it impossible to see let alone crop.

No way you can work on this, none of the resizers work other than making it smaller.

That does not work tried uninstalling repairing resetting. It is obviously an update defect, please fix, I rely on this programme for my photographic editing, especially when I am travelling and working on a 12" laptop. the attached screenshot was from a 30" monitor.

Hi, good day! I'm John Dev a Windows user like you and I'll be happy to assist you today. I know this has been difficult for you, rest assured, I'm going to do my best to help you.

When was the last time it worked properly? Have you recently installed a windows update or an update to the Photos app itself?

Press Start then search Photos app

Right click it then select App settings

Click Terminate > Repair > Reset

    Restart your computer

I look forward to receiving your update and I'm willing to collaborate with you till we resolve the issue. Do keep me informed.

    Kind regards,
