Azure Virtual Machine scale set backup and log analytics question

Hi,

I have few questions regarding Azure Virtual Machine Scale Set

We are using Azure VMSS AKS and would like to backup all the instances of VMSS using Azure Backup feature but we are not able to see the Scale Set VM to take or enable the backup from Azure Recovery Service Vault, how can we enable the backup

We want to install Azure log analytics agent on all instances of VMSS from Azure portal when we go to log analytics workspace and click on virtual machine it shows VMSS not all instances and when we click on that it says "Virtual machine scale sets support is limited. No actions are available at this moment." we want to install the agent on all instances so we can enable update management and others with respect to Monitor, Security centre and Log Analytics, how can i install the agent to get more insights of instances.

I have reviewed the document before posting the question here, it seems backup is in preview for Azure VM Scale Sets with flexible orchestration and not the normal VM Scale Sets we are using AKS in normal VM Scale Set or may be backup is allowed for both please help.

The document shared does not have steps of enabling the backup from Azure portal using GUI or PowerShell.

The document for backup you have shared is for the flexible orchestration and not the normal VM Scale Sets we are using AKS in normal VM Scale Set or may be backup is allowed for both please help.

For Log Analytics the doucment you have shred does not have information about VM Scale Set, when i go to the Azure portal log anlaytics workspace to enable or install log analytics it does not show the instances of VMSS, please help and support
