Editing the video recording format settings of a Teams meeting

When recording a meeting in Microsoft teams it defaults to the side by side camera view can this be changed? I would like to record the person speaking as full screen as possible.

Based on your description, I know your requirement. And I did a test and some research for you. Through my research, it seems we cannot change the default view setting in Teams meeting recording. So sorry to bring you inconvenience. If you want to record the person speaking as full screen as possible, you can try to use Live Event. You can get more detailed information from Get started with Microsoft Teams live events and Manage a live event recording and reports in Teams (microsoft.com).

I know sometimes it is really inconvenient for us to use this if there is no this feature in Teams meeting recording. I can actually understand your mood. And I think your idea is very constructive. I sincerely suggest you use Feedback to provide your precious suggestion via Microsoft Teams · Community. Microsoft will update their products based on customers’ suggestions. I believe your suggestion will help many other people in the future.
