Replace certificate hybrid exchange

We are currently running 2 exchange 2019 servers in hybrid with office 365. The 2 servers are not in a cluster. We just use a dns record to point to one or the other. They are essentially just used for mail flow as we have no on premise mailboxes.

Our third party certificate will expire in the next few days and we have purchased the new cert. Is this essentially the correct procedure?

Any tips would be greatly appreciated

    @NP

    Different type of Exchange certificate needs take different way to renew. Based on your description, I think you want to renew the certificate that used for IIS and SMTP:

    For this kind for certificates, you can renew it directly:

    1. Click "Renew".
    2. Use the certificate request to apply a new certificate from third party CA.
    3. Import this certificate to Exchange server to complete the renew process)
    4. Rerun HCW to update hybrid configuration.

    If you want to renew other kind of certificate, just tell us.
