i am unable to get the background settings in microsoft teams

Dear Team ,

 I am using the latest Teams app in my windows 10 laptop. During the meeting for the video I am unable to get the background setting to select a background for my video. Request your help .

    I'm on desktop. The option doesn't show up either

    I have this problem too. I am on the latest version of Teams, though the backgrounds are not there.

    I have 2 machines.  One laptop, one desktop.  Both were installed with our corporate install of Teams.  The laptop allows me to have backgrounds, the desktop doesn't have the option.  In fact in %appdata%\microsoft\teams on the laptop there's a backgrounds folder, and on the PC there isn't a backgrounds folder.

    Both machines run the latest updates to windows 10.

    This is a Microsoft issue.  Not because MS haven't yet released the functionality, it's the usual MS software issues.

    For all of you having this problem, this option is only available for Desktop. So, if you are using anything else than the desktop app, this option is not available. (Ie Not available in web (teams.microsoft.com) or mobile)

    Just spent last night and this morning updating Windows and Teams including uninstalling and reinstalling Teams.  No backgrounds!
