- Guest Permissions: Guests can only share files in channel conversations and you cannot share files to guests unless you change the sharing link to “people in this chat” or “specific people” (same thing) because then you’re adding a secure link using external sharing.
- External Access: External access users cannot share files. You might need to check the settings in the admin center at admin.teams.microsoft.com. In the left navigation, go to Meetings > Meeting settings. Under Participants, turn on Anonymous users can join a meeting.
- Teams Updates: Make sure that you have the latest Teams updates installed.
- Rejoin the Meeting: Leaving and rejoining the meeting might restore the recording functionality.
