Hi again,
Thanks for the additional follow-up. See my answers below to your numbered questions.
1 - yes, it was recorded and transcribed using the Microsoft Teams desktop app.
2 - yes, i found a link in microsoft teams at the top right of the "Recap" tab to open the recording in Microsoft Stream. I deleted the transcript and regenerated it. Unfortunately, I am still getting an error message (AI Notes aren't available for this meeting. In some situations, AI isn't able to generate meeting notes. Learn more)
3- I know there is an option to add meeting notes manually. But I would have to relisten to the recording (4 hours) and create my own notes. This defeats the purpose of AI. If there is a risk that this is not going to work, then I need to be taking manual notes during the meeting so that I don't have to spend twice the time.
I totally accept that this meeting is a lost cause. I am trying to upload the recording to other AI tools (like Parrot) to generate meeting notes for me, but they are not nearly as detailed as the Microsoft AI recap and they don't have the references to the recording.
While I accept that the meeting recap was a fail, my interest is understanding WHY this happened so it doesn't happen again. Otherwise we will need to continue to take manual notes during the meeting (which defeats the purpose of AI, which should allow us to totally focus on engaging in the meeting). How can I reach out to Microsoft Support to help identify a root cause for this issue?
