How do I set Teams meetings to utilize both displays in dual display setup?

We have a client's AV system utilizing a cisco codec sx80 for video conferencing. The system is dual display. Codec video output connectors 1&2 are each connected to one of the displays. The codec's video settings have the monitor mode set to dual, output connector 1 monitor role set to first, and output connector 2 monitor role set to second.

During a Teams Meeting, the codec only utilizes the first display, and the second is blank. Other platforms utilize both displays. Are there any settings for Teams that the client should check in their Teams Admin Portal?

Thank you for your time.

    Hi David,

Thank you for reaching out to the Microsoft Community. My name is Seun and I'm happy to help.

I understand that you want to utilize both displays during a Microsoft Teams meeting as this can significantly enhance your presentation experience. Let's explore how to set up dual displays for Teams meetings:

In this article ( https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/msteams/forum/all/using-dual-screen-in-microsoft-teams/16266c69-0f4d-4316-8285-2e6fcefc680e ), V. Arya shows the steps to achieve this :

    "1. Physical Setup:

    • Ensure that both displays are properly connected to your system. You can use various configurations, such as:
      • Two monitors plugged into a computer.
      • A laptop connected to an external monitor.
      • A laptop wirelessly connected to a tablet.
    • Having the second screen allows you to manage content more effectively during presentations.
    1. Join the Teams Meeting:
      • Open Microsoft Teams and join the meeting where you'll be presenting.
      • Click on the "Share" button located at the bottom of the meeting screen.
    2. Managing Your Screens:
      • On your main monitor, open the presentation or content you want to share with the participants.
      • On the second monitor, you'll see the shared screen from Microsoft Teams.
      • Switch to the Microsoft Teams window on your main monitor.
      • Start your presentation by clicking on the "Slide Show" button in your presentation software.
      • Ensure that you've selected the correct screen for the presentation. "

I hope this information helps, if you require further help or information, please let me know.

    Best Regards,

    Seun
