Is it possible to add custom emoji to Microsoft Teams?

The title says it all. Is it possible to add custom emojis to the Microsoft teams chat? like in Slack or in Discord.

Based on research, adding emojis are not available in Teams for now, unfortunately. We could only upload memes in Teams, if it is allowed by Teams group owner(s). Please find the following screenshots for your reference.

In the meantime, it may help to know that Microsoft does listen to customer feedback and takes it into consideration when planning future updates.

To help bring attention to this issue, you can upvote the following requests on the Microsoft Feedback Portal like I did also:

By upvoting these requests, you can show Microsoft that this is a feature that is important to you and many other users.
