We are seeing an increase with external attendees joining teams meetings and bringing in read.ai bot. We need a way to block this as well as other bots from external attendees from joining. This is a security issue for us and we can’t seem to find a solid answer on how to block and prevent.

Dear Austin,
Good day!
Thank you for posting to Microsoft Community. We are glad to assist!
Based on your description regarding "Block read.ai and other bots from external joining participants ". you can block them from joining by involving your admin and setting "Require a verification of anonymous users and people from untrusted organizations", this option will prompt that "Anonymous users and people from untrusted organizations" prove that they are real people, thus preventing bots (including web-based recording bots) from participating in your meetings. Your admin can set this option through Meeting Policies - Microsoft Teams admin center - > Meetings - > Meeting Policies -> Choose the meeting policy for which you want to set these changes (you can change the global policy for all users, or you can make these changes for all policies you have, if you have some users using custom policies). -> Meeting Lobby and Join Section, set Require a check of anonymous users and people from untrusted organizations", this option will ask "Anonymous users and people from untrusted organizations.
After enabling this option, all anonymous users will have to pass the real person test to prove that they are not bots.

In the Teams admin center, you can also disable anonymous user join in the meeting settings.

We look forward to your response.

Unfortunately, everyone who is joining externally are required CAPCHA now. this is frustrating for our business partners.
If i turn this setting on, will it affect CoPilot's ability to join calls and meeting and transcribe?
Thanks
