Yealink A30 and CPT18, cant content share to main screen

Hello,

We have an A30 meeting bar and CPT19 Touch panel setup in our meeting room.

We hare having issues with content sharing to the tv screen that is connected to the A30.

A teams account is logged in (it has been set up as a "room"), and when hosting the meeting, any content shared.. whether through the wireless dongle or even through another participant - will not show on the screen. Other participants can see the shared content, but it does not show at all on the main screen, which means no one in the meeting room can see what is being shared/discussed.

Has it been setup incorrectly? We have tried to troubleshoot the best we can, but cannot get it to work, and i feel like it should be such a simple and basic thing to achieve.

Thanks for the help!

    Hello Jessie,

My name is EngineTyme, an Independent Advisor and a Microsoft user like you and I would be glad to help you.

I am sorry to hear about the issues you are experiencing with your Yealink A30 and CPT19 setup. Here are a few suggestions that might help:

    1. Check the Display Settings: Ensure that the display settings on your A30 are correctly configured. The MeetingBar A20/A30 should display the main idle interface on one screen, and the Teams background on the other when in the idle interface.
    2. Check the Content Sharing Settings: Verify that the content sharing settings on your Teams account are correctly configured. All participants should be able to share content during a meeting.
    3. Update the Firmware: Make sure that your Yealink devices are running the latest firmware. Manufacturers often release updates that fix bugs and improve performance.
    4. Contact Yealink Support: If you’re still experiencing issues, it might be best to reach out to Yealink’s customer support. They can provide more specific troubleshooting steps and potentially identify if there’s a hardware issue with your devices.

Please let me know if you have any questions or concern.

    Thanks for your reply.

Could you elaborate on #2 and where we would find these settings to verify content sharing settings on the teams accounts?

    Hello Jessie,

I was referring to how the users share the content of their screen, as stated in this article:

Share content in Microsoft Teams meetings: https://support.microsoft.com/office/fcc2bf59-aecd-4481-8f99-ce55dd836ce8

If I get you correctly, it seems you want to project the content of your Teams room on a screen right?

    Best regards,
