IIS Fails to Restart In First Few Attempts

Question

Despite being an administrator (both logged on) and having launched the Command Prompt in Administrator mode, IIS always fails in the first few attempts. Is that any indication of resource usage and/or other system syndromes?

You can try to follow these steps to fix this problem:

• Open PowerShell
• Type Regedit then hit enter
• Browse to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/Microsoft/Windows/CurrentVersion/policies/system
• Change the Value data to a 0
• Click OK, then reboot the server
