I have a user that is getting this error when trying to create a new Team in the Teams beta version. I was having it as well until I cleared my cache. Unfortunately, the same fix did not work for them. Any ideas?

    Hello, Chris.

I agree with your concern regarding the beta version. The New Teams is still for improvements. That's the reason why it is missing features unlike the Classic version. By sending feedbacks to Microsoft portal, they will get notified about these issues and will give us an update as soon as possible.

    Kind regards, Kevin

Ummm...I just noticed this today...and why isn't there someone from Microsoft on here? Also, why is it not showing up in the health section of M365 admin ctr???

You can also reach out to your Teams admin and they can create new teams from the admin ctr

A Teams version that can't create teams is not very good!

Mobile app works whilst classic app is expired.

    We need a better beta!

Couldn't agree more! I appreciate all the clever work arounds people have added, but again, a great short-term solution to a much bigger problem.
