Seems the newest in repo https://packages.microsoft.com/repos/ms-teams/pool/main/t/teams-insiders/
I've checked Teams web client in Chrome for Linux and I can sign in fine.
@Paul Zelewski
If there is no issue in Teams web client, this issue may related to client itself. In this case, it recommends you try to clear your client cache file and restart it to see if it can be fixed.
Cache folder on Linux:
~/.config/Microsoft/Microsoft\ Teams\ -\ Insiders
To remove cache folder:
rm -r ~/.config/Microsoft/Microsoft\ Teams\ -\ Insiders
In addition, you could try to change another version of client to see if it works.
@Paul Zelewski
It has been a while, how is everything going?
If you have any update about this issue, please feel free to post back.
I'm not @Paul Zelewski but I'm having the same issue. Clearing the cache did not help, unfortunately. The error also persisted with another version I tried.
I've just installed Kubuntu 22.04 and Teams 1.5.00.10453
Error message has changed
This version of Teams only supports work or school accounts managed by an organisation.
It was never cache or installation issue. Why Linux Teams do not support personal accounts?
Browsers support that..
