Add resource providers to azure subscription

I was trying to create Data Factory, while doing its showed that this resource provider has not been registered to the subscription my company has. and I do not have necessary permission to register the same.

My query:

1.What the necessary role/ permission required for an account to register resource providers to existing subscription?
2. What are the steps to follow to add the resource providers to a subscription?

Open the Subscription > Resource Provider tab and find and register the required resource provider

Thanks for your valuable point. I followed as you said. But I only have contributor role. The register button is disabled for me. I need to know the exact role(s) I require to enable the same.

Subscription contributor or owner role is required for this operation. Please see step 5 in below document. This is one time activity so you may ask the admin/owner as well
