Microsoft Loop - Status - Options can not be selected nor created in some of the columns - Status options are not populated correctly

Created a Table with Status but only the first 3 columns have the standard selection:

After that I could add options manually:

Then it stopped and I can not create an option.

Neither through confirming via mouse click or pressing the enter button

You see on the bottom several "Completed" option but there should only be one instead.

As I have the create the page it can not be related to access.

Running on Microsoft Edge Browser Version 120.0.2210.144 (Official build) (64-bit)

Also tried to reload using CTRL+F5 (to assure something was cached)

Other collaborators in that loop page have the same issue and are not able to edit / add nor change the options field in the table.

Is this a known issue?

If not what are the steps to make it work again?

Thank you for guidance and answering!

    Hello! otluk

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community

It seems to me that you and your collaborators are experiencing issues with the Status options in Microsoft Loop. Allow me to ask:

    • Was this working before?
    • Were there any changes in the computer or application before the issue occurred?
    • Is this happening to all other browsers? or devices?
    • What error message are you getting?

This is not a known issue, but I can help you troubleshoot the problem.

First, please try clearing your browser cache and cookies. This can often resolve issues with web applications. You can do this by going to your browser settings and selecting "Clear browsing data."

If that doesn't work, please try using a different browser or device to see if the issue persists. This will help us determine if the problem is specific to your current browser or device.

If the issue still persists, please try creating a new table with Status options to see if the problem occurs again.

If none of these steps resolve the issue, please let me know and we can explore other troubleshooting options.

    Thank you,

    Hello! otluk

    Thank you for the reply!

I understand and I see this wasn't working before this might be an issue with the Loop. I would suggest to send your feedback regarding this issue as we have no control over feature and how it is designed. It would be best to submit a feedback for the developer to implement a fix or patch fix regarding this issue. You can submit your feedback with the use of feedback hub app: Send feedback to Microsoft with the Feedback Hub app - Microsoft Support

I understand that this needs to be fixed however since Loop is still in its improvement I would suggest to submit a feedback to this directly to the developer. It may take some time for the fix to be implemented.

    I hope it helps!

    Thank you,

Thank you Vince for this quick response!

No it was not working before, so I tried the following:

    • No I was all in one run from creation to the shown issue (so not changes to OS etc.)
    • Yes I also tried Google Chrome Version 120.0.6099.225 (Official Build) (64-bit) -> But could for course be that all Chromium based Browsers have this issue
    • Other users are also impacted and see the same issue (in the used table)
    • There is no dedicated error message (at least not visible ->I did not looked into Browser terminal / DevTools yet)
    • I tried clearing the browser cache and cookies but the issue did persist and as other users face the same issue I assume it is not browser related
    • I tried to copy to another table but the issue did persist
