Since being updated to 2401, I can't seem to roll back to previous Office versions anymore. I never had trouble doing this before. Every time I try now, I get the "Something Went Wrong" message with no explanation or help.

    Hi Six Sigma Guy,

Thanks for writing us here in Microsoft Community.

Rolling back to a previous version of Office is not recommended as it may cause compatibility issues and security vulnerabilities. However, if you still wish to proceed with the rollback, you can try the following steps:

Based on my research, it is possible to revert to an earlier version of Office if you are using the Click-to-Run version of Office 365.

You can follow the steps presented in this article to learn more about the process: How to revert to an earlier version of Office - Microsoft Support,

If you are still unable to revert to a previous version of Office, we strongly suggest you post this same concern directly to Microsoft 365 Insider - Microsoft Community Hub for further assistance. Developers like you are here to back you up and guide you with brilliant minds until your concern is fully taken care of.

I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any other questions.

    Sincerely,

    Froilance T.
