Addition... after I found that I couldn't convert elements to a loop component, I had to reopen the workspace. Now I have the appropriate selection in the context menu... but now also in English. Only the menu on the left has been preserved in German.
Microsoft Loop - Language different between two workspaces for the same user at the same time, only another Tab in Edge - Solution for fix it?
Hello everyone,
The following strange thing... I have currently created two workspaces within Loop. Yesterday one of the work areas also showed the selections and descriptions in German. Today they are in English. However, the menu ribbon on the side uses German terms.
The work area created today, however, is in German.
I checked the language settings of the system and also my account. Furthermore, this does not explain why at the same time one loop workspace displays the displays in German and the other in English. Just a strange thing... In Entra there is no value for "Preferred language"?!? But I can't adjust this in Entra.

2024-07-06T11:42:58+00:00 Hi! Peter Schwarz PS, Welcome to the Microsoft Community!I realize that you've encountered a problem with the language in the Microsoft Loop's component languages and toolbars changes automatically in English and German. and I understand how you feel. After my testing I found that the component language and the menu ribbon language in the Microsoft Loop are actually independent of each other. For example when you create a form in German, if you switch the Loop language to English, then your menu ribbon becomes English and your form language remains German. If you need to use the menu ribbon in English, please copy this link into the address bar of your Edge : https://loop.cloud.microsoft/?locale=en-us
If you need to use the German menu ribbon, please copy this link into the address bar of your Edge : https://loop.cloud.microsoft/?locale=de-de
As you can see, only the last part of the English link and the German link are different. en-us stands for English, de-de stands for German, and you can change it to another language, e.g. french: fr-fr. (As I said above, this language change will only affect your interface and the menu ribbon, it will not change the language of the forms and other components that you have created before).Feel free to post back if you need further assistance.Thank you for your understanding and patience and I look forward to hearing from you. 2024-07-08T07:23:09+00:00 Hello Eddy....
I think we now have a clear wording:
Menu ribbon language for the menus within the application and component language for the usable components and their context menus.
The menus displayed in my case (menu ribbon language) are German as desired, this is not the problem. However, the components and associated context menus (component language) are in English. These should also be displayed in German.
For example, if I create a new page within the work area in which the above-mentioned constellation is the case, it will initially be displayed with the German component language. If I change the page once and back again, the component language changes to English. And this is exactly what is not desired.
Best Regards,
Peter
