How to find my email contact list at Outlook.com

Original title: Contact list.

If I need to email someone and they are not on my contact list how can I put them on, I cannot even get my email contact list, how can I get to it.

You don't have to include that someone to your contact list in order to email him/her.

You can just simply type the address into the To box.

If you do want to add that person to your contact list...............

To access your main contact list:

Open outlook.com > top left next to the logo Outlook, there is a down arrow > click the arrow > click People > All your contacts are now listed on the left. Scroll down to see each contact.

How to add a new contact to your Contact List :

at the same People window , toolbar at top, click New > fill in the required info > click Save when done > the new contact is now included in your contact list.

I agree with you there is no down arrow next to the logo in windows 8.1, where do we go from ?

Trying to access main contact list.  You say to open outlook.com.  You say "top left next to the logo Outlook, there is a down arrow"   NO THERE ISN'T!!!  Either I am blind or in the wrong window.  Send me a picture or some way to find that imaginary arrow.
