Manual Storage allocation in SPO sites

Question

We have 65 TB storage allocated in the tenant and have changed the storage allocation from Automatic to manual.
We are having 5000+ sites in the tenant and we have plan to assign (allocate) 1TB to each of the sites so do we require 5000 TB storage for this or we can assign 1 TB to each site without buying more?

Hello @Ajaz Khan ,

If you wish to add additional space you need to purchase more storage which is available on the on the Site Collections page inside SharePoint admin or on the subscriptions page inside Office 365 Admin.

Normally, we do not recommend that you allocate 1TB of space for each Site Collection. Because max storage per site (site collection) is 25 TB(Please note that this is a site limit, not a tenant limit).
