Troubleshooting website display or functionality issues in Edge on Windows 10
This browser is no longer supported.
Upgrade to Microsoft Edge to take advantage of the latest features, security updates, and technical support.
Ever since i first entered pinterest on edge, it looked all weird, zoomed and pretty much unusable- until i realized it was forcing mobile view.
I tested if pinterest changed anything, reverting back to brave and chrome... and it was working fine.
I dont know if the problem is on pinterest side- but since its only happening on edge i assume the issue is with something on edge`s side/implementation. Its ironic since edge is supposed to be integrated with pinterest.
Im on windows 10, on desktop, on a 30 inch 4k screen. Mobile view makes it unusable.
I dont want to use pinterests app- i want multiple windows and tabs a browser provides. Just as i tought id migrated fully to edge (thanks to the collections feature) one of my most used sites is pretty much rendered useless.
Sadly pinterest dont use that m prefix url many social media uses for the mobile view, so i have no easy workaround.
How can i fix this?
In the meantime anyone knows of any extensions that could force a desktop view? Ive found extensions forcing mobile view so far.

Resetting permissions did nothing.
deleting cookies data (from all 3 entries showing as pintered) worked... only at first.
The homepage opened as desktop fine- but from the get go opening any image in a new tab goes back to mobile
The moment that happens, reloading the homepage the homepage remains as desktop- but the moment i open pinterest again in another tab, even the homepage is in mobile view again. (it seems like whatever triggers it once triggered sticks, except on tabs opened before being triggered)
Hi Vibal, I am Paulo. I'm an Independent Advisor and an individual like you inclined to help.
Have you tried resetting the site permissions? If not, click the lock icon beside the website address then click Site permissions. Scroll down at the bottom and you'll see Reset permissions.
If that didn't work, see if deleting the site data could fix the issue. To do this, go to Edge Settings > Cookies and site permissions > Cookies and site data > See all cookies and site data. Search the website then click the bin icon to remove and check if the issue is fixed.
Let me know if this helps.
