How can I enter a hyperlink in a REPLY to a message in Outlook - Office 365?

Question

The Insert tab does not appear when I am composing a reply.  I can't find another way to insert a hyperlink in the text of a message I am composing.  Any help will be appreciated!

Have no idea as to what "with this one message" refers to so can't provide any info beyond that already provided beyond side-stepping the reading pane as the starting point and opening the message and then clicking <reply> - yes this involves an extra step but as mentioned - no idea what's unique about the specific message in question. (is this a message rec'd in "text format" versus "HTML" by any chance?)

Please note that your original post did not refer to a 'specific message" to which you indicated that my response did not resolve your issue - there was no way for anyone to know that.

Are you by chance clicking <Reply> from within the Reading Pane which won't show the Insert tab in the ribbon? To get the regular tabs - click on <Pop Out>.

Make no mistake, you reply was extremely helpful and right on the mark.  I know now how to avoid this problem in the future.  The issue I have with this one message does not detract from the value of the information you gave.  I have tried it on other message replies and it works perfectly.

I don't believe the problem message was in plain text, but not to worry.  I simply composed a new message to the sender.

Thanks.  I see that starting the reply from the popped version of the message does display the full ribbon, and that's great.  I've tried it in replying to other messages and it works perfectly.  However, I still can't get it to work with this one message to which I'm trying to reply.  

Really appreciate your suggestion.  I'll remember always to start the reply from the popped out message, and not from the reading pane.
