Office 365 Mail Templates - Add-Ins

There have been a few questions asked about templates in OWA but most seem to be a year or more ago so I am starting a new thread.

We switched to Office365 a few months ago.

I need to use templates. I have read about Manage Add-ins, but that option is not available to me.

The templates icon at the bottom right of the New Mail screen appears intermittently like once a month and I am unable to determine why or how.

I have turned off all browser plug ins and popups in case they prevent the template icon from appearing.

I also have a shared mailbox and the templates have NEVER appeared in the shared mailbox.

I am running windows 7 Pro, with a chrome browser.

Can anyone advise why the templates option only appears intermittently, and how can I make it a permanent feature on my email settings?

Thank you

    Thank you

I can confirm that our Administrator has given everyone access and permission to templates.

I can confirm that it still does not work when I sign in to someone else's machine. The add-in options are not available to me.

    Thank you for your help.

    Kind Regards

    Michael

    Hi Michael ,

    Thanks for the reply .

May I offer you some suggestions ?

1 . Log in your account on other computers to see if you can access manage Add-ins settings .

2 . If it works , turn on My templates and try to create a new email to see if it appears .

3 . Contact your Office 365 administrator to negative to Exchange admin center -> organization -> add-ins and check the settings are right .

If you still cannot access Manage add-ins on the other computers and the error message still exists , please contact us .

    Best regards ,

    Rick

I wonder if anyone has some further thoughts on this.

I managed to get access to my templates on Friday for a short while. But I did not do anything obvious. I just tried later in the day.

But today, restarted my computer, and they are not available again and I get the same error message as before. "There was a problem loading your options. Please try again."

From a different thread, people were asked for the message source - perhaps this will help

    Thank you

After carefully going through ALL the settings on the mailbox, I have found this.

Have reloaded the page several times. The error message persists. All the other options are accessible.

    Thank you Rick.

I am unable to add any add-ins as the option "Manage Add-ins" does not appear in the Settings wheel.

I am unaware of any specific plugin and I have turned off all the browser Extensions in the event one of them was blocking the option.

I have cleared my browser history, then logged out of both mailboxes. I cannot see the option "My Templates" .

I then closed my browser, reopened and logged in to the email again.

And still no access to add-ins or the template feature.

    Thank you again

    Michael
