Delegate Access option not available in Outlook for IMAP account

Good day,

I added an account in Outlook, however 'Delegate Access' option under Account Settings is not available. Account added was an IMAP/SMTP account. Do Exchange server accounts only have this option? What other options can I do so I can delegate access to my colleagues and they can send emails in my behalf?

TIA!

    Hello Fritzie

You are correct - that option is only available if you are using an Exchange based account. There are no options for delegation for IMAP or POP accounts short of the other users configuring your account in Outlook.
