Follow up Flags in Outlook 365 are randomly disappearing - Please Fix!!!

I've found 2 years old conversation of this issue: https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/msoffice/forum/msoffice\_outlook-mso\_win10-mso\_o365b/follow-up-flags-in-outlook-365-are-randomly/a9493652-3a0c-426c-8ccc-ab7f9f337383?page=1 (which also refers to many more older conversations) but the the thread is closed (I guess someone needed to keep their performance metrics up) but issue is still there: follow up flag just disappears after few seconds and there is no way to detect or prevent it so I have to wait (i.e. waste) about 15 seconds after marking each email for follow up to make sure it stays in the task list and if/when it disappears go to "sent items" and mark it again (luckily it works second time every time, or at least I haven't encounter such case).

Dear Microsoft - please, please, please please, - fix this annoying issue. For a lot of people relying on flagged emails for organizing their work this "minor" bug can bring serious problems. We have to rely on you, dear Microsoft, please don't let us down!

    Hi Alexei_Dzienis,

    Greetings.

Someone (community member) mentioned this is related to time zone, check that all your time zone settings are same: MS Outlook, PC clock, etc.

In addition, you may try the following to check the issue:

#1. Update your Office and OS to the latest version.

#2. Try to repair the Office from Control Panel, here is the reference: Repair an Office application - Office Support (microsoft.com) (QuickRepair)

#3. This problem may be related to the email profile you are using. In this case, you could create a new email profile to check the issue: Create an Outlook profile. (please do not delete the old profile in case)

    Best Regards,

    Linda
