How to disable "you don't often get email from xxx" function in Outlook for Windows

Question

I want to disable the "you don't often get email from xxx" function. It is useless and as a business, obviously we get emails from outside of our organization daily. I would assume most businesses do.

I am perfectly aware if someone is a person I get email from often and would like to view a preview of the email in my side bar, not "you don't often get email from".

There is no obvious way to disable this and I can't find any solutions online, so I am fearing it is yet another useless or broken feature that Microsoft will push for years to come.

Thank you for raising your concern in this community.

I understand your frustration, this message as to do with the Anti-Phishing Policies.

It is called first contact safety tip. It is a feature enable in your organization by the IT admin.

It is designed to help you be in guard against some potential phishing attack.

To disable it, you need to be the admin.

• Go to M365 Defender> Policies & rules Threat Policies> Anti-phishing and edit policy and switch off first contact safety tip.
