Hi,

Every couple of days, when I try accessing my emails, Outlook will says that there's a problem with my account that I need to fix by re-entering my password. It never used to do this.

I use a home PC and nobody else has physical access to it.

I'm worried somebody might be accessing my account remotely, or is this just a new security feature?

Thanks

if does not work try to make the following steps:

Cick Start > Control Panel > User Accounts > Credential Manager.

Note: If 'View by' is set to Category, click User Accounts first, and then click Credential Manager.

Select the Windows Credentials option. Locate the set of credentials that has either Outlook or Microsoft Office in the name and then expand the corresponding folder.

    Then click Remove.

Repeat step 3 for any additional sets of credentials that have the word Outlook or Microsoft Office in the name.

Then Outlook will prompt for your password one more time and it should keep it

    Hi Dave

Thanks for participating in Microsoft Community, I'm Skypper G. I'm Independent advisor, let me help you with this.

It looks like Outlook is losing the cache credentials every day for your account, that's why it is prompting for the same password on your email account.

Try to create new Outlook Profile from Control Panel and check if the issue persists, see:

    https://www.google.com/search?q=overview+outloo...

You should not be worry about compromised account if it is always the same password you have to enter to fix the issue.
