I cannot resolve a problem in which a pop-up keeps saying "Outlook has exhausted all shared resources, please close all messaging applications and restart Outlook (example: Skype for Business). Please help me. Have no idea how to resolve it.

I tried this, but it didn't work. https://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/415f03fe-9ac2-4ab6-8df5-20b725c97cc6/re-running-out-of-shared-resources-in-outlook-2016?forum=outlook

    Hi Anonymous-User-ABCDEF,

are you using many or huge .pst files (open control panel - mail and check data files)? If you do, i'd recommend running scanpst.exe on them first to check their integity.

HUGE pst files, corrupted pst files, pst files stored on slow or even network drive can easily cause such probems

Assuming you are using some version of MS Office/MS Outlook, start off with a repair

Restart the PC, once fully loaded, repair Office,> Apps & Features>Select Office your version>Modify /Repair, once the repair completes re-test
