This just means that someone is constantly trying to reset your password.

This might indicate that your email/password combination was in one of those giant leaks.

This is generally all automated, so these bad actors attempt to reset thousands of accounts at once.

Unless you initiated the process to reset your password, you can safely discard that email.

The reason you received that email means that your account security is working and has an additional step to prevent your password from getting reset.

At some point they stop trying to reset your password.

Always remember to use two factor authentication, and to never give that code to anyone. No employee will ever request it.

I am also getting this daily email. Very annoying.

Judging by the comments on here, we are not the only ones with this problem.

    This is unfortunately very common.

Only recommendation I can give is to make sure your account hasn't been compromised and to turn on 2factor authentication.

    • A simple search online of your email should reveal if it is part of a leak.
      • If you notice your email address and password are listed somewhere, change your password.
        • I recommend using a password manager so that all your passwords are unique.
    • Turn on Two Step authentication
    • Add an alternate email address to your account (sometimes called recovery email address)
      • This allows you to regain access to your account in case it is compromised, and prevents the password from being reset unless a code (such as above) is present.

Besides that all we can do is wait until these bad actors stop their attack on your account. You can review your account activity to make sure there haven't been any unauthorized access.
