Any update on resolving this issue?
Outlook Search does not function
We have several instances of the following error presenting itself in Outlook. It is affecting a wide range of different office suites. We have rebuilt indexing locally and on the exchange servers. That did not resolve the issue. Could you provide some guidance? This appears to be a widespread problem. Thank you,

2020-05-13T23:59:04+00:00 Disabling fast search is the quickest workaround I have found.
It is just a registry key which can be rolled out via Group Policy or any other client management tools.
This instantly fixes the issue as a workaround.
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\software\policies\Microsoft\office\16.0\outlook\search
DWORD: DisableServerAssistedSearch
