Hi,

Our organization has hybrid environment. Few days ago one of our users sent 32 anonymous e-mail messages, but only 22 were successfully delivered. After little inspection, in Office 365 Message Trace I see that the status of 10 e-mail messages immediately after delivery has changed to LED=432 4.2.0 STOREDRV.Deliver.Exception:StorageTransientException.MapiExceptionLockViolation; Failed to process message due to a transient exception with message Query/Update out of office history operation. with Event ID set to Defer. What does that means? I can't find any documentation for this error code.

Do I need contact Office 365 Support or I can do something myself? Thanks!

    @Tomass Pētersons

    I also doesn't find related article about this error message so far.

    So, I want to confirm with you that if you resend 32 emails again, whether this phenomenon occurs? If you could send email successfully now, I guess this is may be a short-lived error, such as network fluctuations or something similar.

    Here are sending limits for Exchange online, if email exceeds this limitation, we will get another error. There doesn't exist other limitation on the sending of emails. Since you could send a part of emails successfully, it means your configuration is correct.

    If you want to deep in this phenomenon, you could contact the Office 365 teams and check whether they could find some information from the backend.
