Hi,

In this video after 13:10 is presented that in the first half of 2021 Microsoft will introduce option that allows you to set an expiration time for Teams meeting recordings.

Now almost in July our organization still has no this option. Is it delayed?

    Hi @Tomass Pētersons ,

I searched the Teams documents but no related official documents point out when it will be released. I will keep you informed if the function released.

As for the cmdlet Set-CSTeamsMeetingPolicy mentioned by @Vasil Michev , the parameter “MeetingRecordingExpirationDays” is now unavailable.

And The document has no clarification about it: Set-CsTeamsMeetingPolicy

    Best regards,
    Lou

Thank the lord they pushed back the actual feature (auto delete user files without thier knowledge or consent) a month to give us enough time to actually disable it before they started deleting files.

That MS Doc was last updated on 08/26/2021 so I wouldn't put too much weight on it as a signal that the cmdlet wont be released soon.

From what I know of the Product Management team that has made the death of Streams a priority and started down this path of not giving enterprise customers the information, the time lines, or the tools to manage this change. They simply havent pulled the trigger yet. I would think sometimes today when they realize they said today to release the cmdlet they will scramble to release it later in the day.

Microsoft is still very much a PST centered org.

Still not working... I always wondered why so many of my colleagues hated MS and it's the stuff like this that really frustrates people.
